Student Athlete
Every great team needs a strong offense. On the recruiting team, you are the captain. As captain, you are both a player and a leader. As a player, you need to work with your team-mates to execute the game plan. As a leader, you need to have trust in your team-mates to perform their roles. Your recruiting team should have a balanced offense with important players at every position. Your team should be made up of the following players.
The Coach
The Prospect’s Edge also believes that coaches can be one of the best resources available to the student-athlete. With their experience, a coach is well equipped to assess an athlete's capabilities and to make recommendations for the athletes future in college sports. And of course, coaches often have well established relationships with college coaches.
The Guidance Counselor
Most high schools have excellent guidance counselors and college counselors who can help the student-athlete match their educational interests with their academic capabilities. The student-athlete needs to take full advantage of the skills and experience of their guidance counselor to identify the colleges that best meet the future needs of the student-athlete.
